Photo's Don't Show Beneath

The photo of Friday's ride doesn't show what is beneath. It gives those voyeurs a look at only the surface.

To the outsider all you see is that it all looks ok as I ride the rock section. But that cannot be further from the truth. It wasn't a good day as some stuff medically triggered my head and was stirring up my PTSI and Anxiety. But with mental illness it is impossible to see when the mental trauma wounds decide today is the day to come out and have fun.

It isn't always what some seem to be obvious that cause the spiral and the wounds coming out to play. It is the tiredness of managing it or feeling like going in circles when trying to get one step further with people you are medically involved with that can play a factor. And a ride picture doesn't reveal the day that a ride is simply to less manage PTSI but to minimize the not so great day when it decides to come out and play.

A ride photo doesn't show that the day wasn't a ok day. In the words of Mishun Sugworth on days like this it is just a ride. And that is ok.
