It always seems that am somewhat curious about where a track might go and can it potentially be something worth riding. And as usual lately looking for options to be creative. Though this time when headed to part of a one of my routes to see what the water levels where decided to look at a track had kind of ignored.
Near the Camden East Rd Park and Ride there was an ATV /snowmobile track that went sort of east but curved north to the 401. And being drier than normal for this time of year decided to check it out.
End result wasn't shocking when it came to the creek and was the end of the track. It was a 50% chance would work and 50% it would not. Like any exploration ride it is a crap shoot.
Since am not going to test the depth of the creek mud nor do I happen to have a convoy of bridging equipment following me on the ride. Nor did I have the Don Rats around with creative ladder bridge building solutions. Not getting across. Well maybe if one carried a pack raft with them but that would probably be more effort for a little reward.
While it did go no where it was still some time on the bike and exploration is always good.
